Richard Shik Lee, 44, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 10:42 am August 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 12, 1978 in Los Angeles, California to Joon Lee and Young Soon Lee.

In addition to his parents, Richard is survived by his sisters, Margaret Dean and husband, Robin of North Carolina and Caroline Lee of San Francisco, California.

Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Richard was a loving son and will be greatly missed.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Father Benny George officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Richard’s honor to the charity of the donor’s choice.
