Tad Ray Ring, 68, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 2:04 am August 19, 2022 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.

He was born April 12, 1954 in Centralia, Illinois to Mr. Ring and Lena (Swan) Ring. Tad married Shelah (Burnett) Korris Ring on August 21, 2021.In addition to his beloved wife, Tad is survived by his children, Justin Ring of Centralia, Mack Korris and significant other, Hannah Storment of Saint Louis, Missouri, Stacie Ring and significant other, Brandon Sensel of Centralia, Kennedy Ring of Saint Louis, Kacie Fitzjerrells and husband, Jeremy of Mount Vernon; grandsons, Ethan Fitzjerrells of Mount Vernon and Jaxon Sensel of Centralia; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Tad worked as an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad for 43 years. He was a well-known and accomplished drummer. He was an amazing husband, a loving father, and dear grandfather. Tad will be deeply missed by all who knew and adored him.
