
JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 43-year-old Mt. Vernon man arrested during a Friday morning police raid was formally charged Monday in Jefferson County Court with drug and weapons offenses.
Nickolas Wuebbels is facing a Class X felony charge of delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine and Class 2 felony being a felon in possession of a firearm with a prior conviction.
A 23-year-old woman – Deja C. Hill — who was present when the Mt Vernon Police Department /Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department High-Risk Team executed the search warrant was charged Monday with Class 4 felony possession of less than 5 grams of meth.
The two were arrested around 6:15 a.m. Friday, when the HRT served a search warrant at 913 Salem Road.
The warrant resulted from ongoing narcotics investigations in the Mt Vernon and Jefferson County areas.
