CENTRALIA — Rosie Timmons, 93, of Centralia passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was born May 18, 1929, in Centralia, the daughter of Orville Stover and Opal (Porter) Stover. She married Harold E. Timmons on January 8, 1947, and he preceded her in death on July 6, 1995.

Rosie is survived by her children: Wathena Biagi and husband Artie, Pam Meyer, Linda Finley and husband Bill, Joanie Norville and husband Terry, John Timmons and wife Arleen, and Mike Timmons and wife Sandi all of Centralia; and daughter-in-law: Janie Timmons of Centralia.

She was blessed with several grandchildren: Minnie Scheidt (Alan), Jennifer True (Jason), Andrew Biagi, Maria Pryor (Kevin), Natalie Biagi, Tony Timmons (Trisha), Trent Timmons (Courtney), Tina Hanenberger (Mike), Michael Meyer (Missy), Christy Lockwood (Ty), Chad Lance (Ellen), Nicole Lawson (Chuck), Johnie Timmons (Lindsay), Tammy White (Jason), Parker Timmons (Tara), Paige Lauder (Chuck), and Chelsea Clark (Kyle).

She is also survived by many great-grandchildren: Bailey Shafer (Dominic), Ryan Scheidt (Kelly), Jeremiah Liver, Carson True, Sarah Biagi, Anthony Biagi, Will, Myles and Nolan Pryor, Brett Hanenberger (Emily), Kyle Hanenberger (Mackenzie), Megan Hanenberger, Braydon Lockwood (Rachel), Lyndee Cardani (Mathew), Jace and Jada Finley Lance, Laynee and Tess Timmons, Isabella and Landry Timmons, Evan and Logan Timmons, Brittany Timmons, Haley and Jordan White and Emma Williams, Rylee and Annalee Timmons, Alayna and Alexa Lauder, and Trey and Nora Clark and several great-great-grandchildren; Roman, Mila and Lola Shafer, Nora and Cleo Scheidt, Eden and Aeris Biagi, Elise and Blair Hanenberger, Averie Hanenberger, Remee Cardani, Harlann Lockwood, Leighton See, Faith Quino, Isaiah Anderson, Grayson White and two more on the way.

Rosie is survived by her three sisters-in-law: Irene Timmons of Chicago, Wathena Stover of Mississippi, and Kathryn Stover of Centralia; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Orville and Opal Stover, husband: Harold Timmons, a son Harold “Bub” Timmons, son-in-law: Ed Meyer, and grandchildren; Jacob Norville, Bethany Nollman and TJ. Lockwood, brothers; Wilson Stover, Ronald Stover, Orville Stover Jr. and wife Sue; Sister’s: Betty Roper and husband Marshall, and Helen McCormick, several brothers-in-law; Donald Timmons, Ira Timmons, Hobert Timmons, Raymond Timmons, O’Brien Robertson, Earnest Smith, Shorty Jerrell. Sister-in-law’s; Grace Smith, Beatrice Jerrell, Ruth Robertson, Margaret Timmons, Ethel Timmons and Wilhemine Timmons.

Rosie was a homemaker and partner/manager with her husband Harold’s Excavating business for over 45 years. She was a volunteer all her life, always there to lend a helping hand, she loved bowling which she did for over 30 years. She co-chaired a car show along with members of her family that raised over $50,000.00 for the V.F.W. Auxiliary Cancer Aid and Research Fund in memory of her husband, Harold. Rosie was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan and she would tell you that she was very blessed to be a mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma.

A Visitation for Rosie Timmons will be held Monday, August 22, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.
