Catherine Mae Arnaud, 85, of Bluford, Illinois, passed away at 2:19 pm July 31, 2022 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born October 10, 1936 in Silva, Missouri to the late Irvin and Osa Levert. Catherine married Lee E. Arnaud on August 14, 1982.In addition to her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Catherine is survived by daughters, Donna Stassi and husband, Jeff of Wright City, Missouri, Debbie Bond and husband, Daniel of Florissant, Missouri, Kelly Ryan of Murphysboro, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two step daughters, Margie Arnaud of Sullivan, Missouri and Brenda Strothcamp of Sullivan, Missouri. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in daughter, Shelly Cooper. Catherine loved flowers and plants. She enjoyed country music and loved to fish.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Matthew Shook officiating. Interment will follow.
