SALEM, IL — A 35-year-old Salem man was arrested on multiple charges Friday after he allegedly fled Marion County Sheriff’s deputies during an attempted traffic stop. According to deputies, they attempted to stop Curtis Branch on State Route 37 South for speeding more than 20 miles per hour over the speed limit.  

However, Branch allegedly fled to home where he parked his vehicle in the driveway and attempted to run inside his home. He was taken into custody for alleged resisting arrest, obstructing justice, fleeing and eluding police, and for speeding.
