CENTRALIA, IL — Bond has been set at $100,000 Thursday for a 41-year-old former Centralia man who failed to appear in court on a 2005 Marion County sexual assault case. Francisco Rojas, of Elberta, Alabama, was extradited back to Marion County Wednesday on a warrant charging him with Class 1 felony criminal sexual assault by force and Class 2 felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim between the ages of 13 and 16.

Rojas was free on $5,000 bail when he failed to appear in court on the charges in November 2005.

According to police information, the charges stem from alleged incidents with a girl who was 14 at the time.
