MT. VERNON, IL — On Tuesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Mt. Vernon Police Department reported the following arrests to WMIX/WDML News;

18-year-old Jy’Merius Hamilton of Mt. Vernon was arrested Tuesday by the Mt. Vernon Police Department for Driving While Never Issued a License, Having a Firearm without a Valid FOID, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
