CENTRALIA, IL — The City of Centralia has announced it will host a city-wide Job Fair during Balloon Fest weekend on August 20th from 1 p.m.to 6 p.m. and on August 21st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Castle Ridge located at 1750 Tee Lane in Centralia.

Assistant City Manager Derek Sherman says the number of employers participating in the Centralia Regional Career Expo continues to increase daily and currently, there are over 150 full and part-time jobs available.

Job seekers can register early on the centralia.works website and preview some of the jobs that are available. Resumes can also be uploaded to this site where employers will be able to review them in advance. Those that pre-register and attend the event will also be automatically entered into a drawing for a free laptop computer and many other prizes.
