MT. VERNON, IL — Family, friends and authorities are searching for a missing Mt. Vernon man last reportedly seen on Wednesday. According to reports, Corthal “Cory” Horn turned 38-years-old on Sunday. His family last spoke with him the morning of Tuesday, March 2nd, but his ex-wife reported seeing him that Wednesday afternoon at Good Samaritan Hospital. His cell phone is apparently turned off and he hasn’t been to work since Wednesday.
Cory is described as 6-feet 5-inches tall, weighing 150-160 pounds, with blue eyes, dark brown hair, a mustache and long beard. He may be wearing square clear eye glasses. The Southern Illinois Search Team has been conducting searches for Cory in the local area.
