SOUTHERN ILLINOIS (WBC) — Area schools and church groups are joining in to create Valentine’s cards for seniors living in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.
“Valentines for Seniors” is an effort spearheaded by State Senator Dale Fowler of Harrisburg.
Senator Fowler says the general public is also welcome to participate.
You can drop off the Valentine’s cards at Fowler’s district office in Harrisburg or mail them to, #2 North Vine, 6th Floor, Harrisburg, IL 62946. You can also call the district office at 618-294-8951.
The collection of Valentine’s Day cards will run through Wednesday, Feb. 10th.
