Mae was a homemaker most of her married life. Her home was always the gathering place for friends and family to crowd around the kitchen table. Her spunky personality drew you in and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. Mae will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mae was a faithful member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was also a member of the Eastern Star of Belle Rive, Home Extension of Mount Vernon, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Center for the love, respect, and care they provided for Mae.
