Marjorie Lucille Schuchardt, 93, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, went home to be with Jesus to celebrate His birthday at 7:00 pm on December 25, 2020. She was born September 26, 1927 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late George Henry and Ruth Ellen (Bond) Shelton. Marjorie first married Donald Leo Depoister in June of 1947, and he was killed in a car accident in September of 1960. She later married Glen Albert Schuchardt on April 6, 1963. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage before his death on October 7, 2008.
An open Zoom Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The Private Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm but will be broadcast via Zoom. Interment will follow at Kirk Cemetery in Ina, Illinois and the family would like to invite anyone interested in attending the graveside committal to please come. Memorials may be made in Marjorie’s honor to the West Salem Trinity United Methodist Church.
