Dennis Orloff Shroyer, 72, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, went to his heavenly home December 17, 2020, with his son and daughter by his side.  A loving son, father, and grandfather, Dennis was born on March 16, 1948 in Salem, Illinois. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 at 10:00 am at Oskaloosa Cemetery in Clay County, Illinois with Mr. Marty Mills officiating.  Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you go and do something kind for someone today.  This is how he would have wanted it.  He never wanted to burden anyone.  He just wanted us to be happy.  He would have given you the shirt off his back, so it’s only fitting that I ask you share some kindness in his memory.  Please remember to observe social distancing at this time.  We are limited to 10 people under the tent at a time.  Following the CDC and NFDA regulations, we encourage everyone to wear a mask.  They will be made available, upon request.
