Agnes A. Kubicki, 93, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 12:25 am December 20, 2020 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor. She was born July 6, 1927 in Dubois, Illinois to the late Stanley and Pauline (Wesolowski) Majewski. Agnes married Edward  Louis Kubicki on September 27, 1947 in DuBois, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly seventy-two years of marriage before he preceded her in death on June 18, 2019.A Morning Visitation will  be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 9:00 to 9:45 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  A Funeral Mass be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Father John Iffert officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mount Vernon, IL. Memorials may be made in Agnes’s honor to Saint Mary School.Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. We are limited to 100 people in the church for the Funeral Mass. Following the CDC and NFDA regulations, masks are required to attend the Funeral Mass. They will be made available, upon request.
