Robert “Buddy”  Carlton, 75, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 4:51 am November 3, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born January 6, 1945 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Robert J. and Melba Azalea (Huffstler) Carlton. Buddy first married Sharon Keef and then later married Karen (Quinn) Carlton on October 15, 1977 in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Reverend Aaron Trotter officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Buddy’s honor to the charity of the donors choice. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. We are limited to 25 people in our building at a time.
