Saundra Lee Bundy, 72, of Walnut Hill, passed away at 9:52 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Carlyle Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Bundy was born August 27, 1948, in Centralia, the daughter of Alvin “Jack” and Mary (Lamb) Johnson.  On June 22, 1985, in Centralia, she married Stephen A. Bundy, and he survives.

Mrs. Bundy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Stephen A. Bundy;  one daughter, Meghan E. Baldridge and husband Ryan of Fort Dodge, Iowa; grandchildren, Emma Grace Baldridge and Hunter Daniel Baldridge, of Fort Dodge, Iowa;  one sister, Ruth Laffoon of Irvington;  one brother, Tom Johnson and wife Dena of Central City;  and many nieces and nephews.

Saundra was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Terry Johnson.

She graduated from North Wamac Grade School, graduated from Centralia Township High School in 1966, and attended Kaskaskia College.  She was an executive secretary and director of marketing for banks in Illinois and Florida.  She also worked for World Color Press in Salem and Rockwell International in Centralia.

Saundra enjoyed genealogy research, gardening, and spending time with family, friends, and especially with her granddaughter Emma Grace and grandson Hunter Daniel.  Saundra enjoyed worshipping at Calumet Street Christian Church.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bundy will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, with Minister John Willis officiating.  Interment will follow at Little Grove Cemetery, Southeast of Walnut Hill.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2020, from 10:30 a.m., until the hour of service, at the funeral home.  Due to the ongoing precautions during this current pandemic, all attendees are asked to wear masks and to follow social distancing guidelines.
