Martha Ann Hall, 77, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born April 21, 1943, in Geneva, Kentucky, the daughter of Richard and Lorene (LaRue) Blanford.  In 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, she married Pat Hall, and he survives.

She was a loving mother, and a perfect wife, and her family was the most important thing in her life.  She was looking forward to her 60th wedding anniversary in October.

In addition to her husband, Pat Hall of Mt. Vernon, she is survived by six children, Tom Hall and wife Kay of Texico, Rhonda Russell and husband Rusty of Mt. Vernon, Tina Hefner and husband Alan of Texico, Samantha Isaac and husband Jeff of Dix, Tim Hall and wife Lisa of Mt. Vernon, and Tony Hall and wife Dena of Mt. Vernon;  eighteen grandchildren, Adam Hall, Amber Hall, Matthew Henry, Andrea Henry, Victoria Dennis, Brittney Hefner, Scott Hefner, Brandon Anthis, Jerry Isaac, Zachary Isaac, Logan Isaac, Trey Isaac, Lauren Hall, Patrick Hall, Felicia Drew, Dakota Harris, Amanda Coleman, and Walker Hall; thirty-one great grandchildren;  two brothers, Charles Blanford and George Blanford, both of Kentucky; and three sisters, Faye Pippin and Ginny Sigler of Kentucky, and Linda McCallister of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lorene Blanford;  and siblings, Kenneth Blanford, Jody Blanford, Jerry Blanford, Jady Blanford, and Johnny Blanford.

A private family funeral service will be held for Mrs. Hall, with burial to follow at Union Chapel Cemetery.  Memorial gifts may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or the Riley Hospital for Children, in Indianapolis, and will be accepted by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O.
