ELDORADO — To promote recovery from addiction of alcohol and other drugs, the Egyptian Health Department Substance Use Prevention, Recovery, and Treatment Council is using National Recovery Month 2020 to promote recovery awareness and hold a “Shout Out for Recovery” Public Art Contest.

The health department’s recovery-oriented system of care (ROSC) coordinator Teri Cain says they want to see what recovery looks like through those personally affected.

Anyone is welcome to create your own public message about recovery with a design for a ribbon, poster, mask or bandana. Original artwork with the artist’s name, phone number, and email may be sent by email to tcain@egyptian.org.
