CENTRALIA — Uber is coming to the area and is now taking applications for drivers in Clinton, Marion, and Jefferson counties.
According to David Shapir, Uber General Manager for Illinois, they’re excited to be expanding their service in Illinois soon, so more residents will have access to an affordable transportation option and flexible earning opportunities.
Uber says it has created a Door-to-Door Safety Standard, which is designed to help protect drivers, passengers and the community from the spread of COVID-19.
