HAMILTON COUNTY — The Hamilton County Highway Department has announced multiple temporary road closures for resurfacing.

According to the highway department, the closures are temporary and can change without notice due to weather.

Blooming Grove Road from Illinois 242 to Illinois 142 closed Thursday and will be closed again today.

Walpole Road from Illinois 142 to County Road 775 East will be closed today through Tuesday.

Akin Road/Truckers Corner Road from County Road 600 East to Campbell’s Corner Road will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

You can expect delays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Any closures will be temporary but may require detours.
