MT. VERNON — A representative from the U.S. Census Bureau will be at Mt. Vernon City Hall Wednesday and Thursday to help those who haven’t completed their census do so.

The representative will be at city hall Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Also, door-to-door enumerators will start going out to homes that have not responded to the census on Wednesday. If they come to your door, local officials ask that you please answer and make yourself counted.

As of Sunday, Jefferson County sits at 69.1% counted, and the city of Mt. Vernon is at 64.8% counted.
