Elmer LaVern Hamson, 85, of Belle Rive, Illinois, passed away at 9:22 pm July 14, 2020 at his residence in Belle Rive, Illinois. He was born June 18, 1935 in Belle Rive, Illinois to the late LaVern Edward and Nola (Ward) Hamson. Elmer married Carolyn (Wood) Hamson on August 1, 1959 in Belle Rive Missionary Baptist Church.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Belle Rive Cemetery in Belle Rive, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 am with Mr. Ron Daniels officiating. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Belle Rive Missionary Baptist Church
