Dorothy J. Randall, 84, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 12:44 pm June 12, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born March 12, 1936 in Marion County, Illinois to the late Paul and Opal (Henson) Vursell. Dorothy married DeWaine Randall on June 6, 1954 in Mount Vernon. They were blessed with 46 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on August 20, 2000.

Per her request, a private graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon with Reverend Jason Webb officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Dorothy’s honor to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
