CENTRALIA, IL — A 30-year-old Centralia man was sentenced Friday in Clay County Court to 15-years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a Class X felony child pornography charge.

Steven R. Jackson was arrested in January and charged with six counts Class X felony reproduction of child pornography depicting a victim under the age of 13 and six counts Class 2 felony possession of child pornography depicting a victim under the age of 13.

Per the plea agreement the other 11 charges were dismissed.

In addition to the 15-year prison sentence, Jackson will have to serve a mandatory supervised release period of three years to life.
