SPRINGFIELD, IL — Hundreds gathered at the Illinois State Capitol this weekend to protest ongoing stay at home orders from the Governor. The event drew lawmakers who have feuded with JB Pritzker over his legal authority to issue on-going disaster proclamations. Republican State Rep. Darren Bailey who has sued the Pritzker over the orders told the crowd they need to consider recalling the Governor.

This past week a judge in Clay County decided that Bailey’s personal lawsuit will remain there.

The Illinois Attorney General, arguing on behalf of the Governor wanted the case moved to Sangamon County which is home to Springfield and the state capitol.
