Billy Gale Williams, 89, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 11:30 am April 27, 2020 at his home. He was born December 13, 1930 in Spring Garden Twp, Jefferson County, Illinois to the late John Williams and Mae Campbell-Shurtz. Billy first married Alice Galligher and then later married Jacqueline S. Bowman-Gregory on July 7, 1976 in Mount Vernon, Illinois and she preceded him in death on October 23, 2010.

A Private Service will be held.  Interment will take place at Kirk Cemetery in Ina, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Billy’s honor to Residential Hospice, or Bible Truth for Living Radio Broadcast, and will be accepted at Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mount Vernon, Illinois 62864.
