HERRIN, IL — A Carterville man will serve three years in prison after pleading guilty to a Class 4 felony theft charge in Williamson County Court Wednesday.

58-year-old Larry T. Coulter was pulled over by a Herrin Police officer for a routine traffic violation. Upon further investigation, Coulter was found to be in possession of stolen prescription medications and electronic devices.

Following his release from DOC, Coulter must serve one year of mandatory supervised release.
