CARMI — Carmi Police say a female juvenile student at Carmi-White County High School was arrested following a fight she allegedly had with another female juvenile student at the school Monday morning.

Carmi Police Chief Jason Carter says the girl approached the other girl and struck her several times on the head and face.

Multiple complaints were signed which resulted in the student’s arrest. The student was taken to the Carmi Police Department where she was charged with disorderly conduct and battery and was later released to her mother.
