William “Bill” Douglas Williams, 93, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 10:25 pm February 6, 2020 at Nature Trail Health Care in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born May 21, 1926 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Harry and Hazel (Young) Williams. William married Doris Jean (Slaton) Williams on August 28, 1952 in Evansville, Indiana. They were married for sixty-five years before she preceded him in death on December 17, 2017.There will be no public services held.
