Sherry Lynn Willis, age 62, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at her home. Sherry was born December 23, 1957 to Harry “Jack” and Joan (Keen) Mandrell in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She married Bill Willis on June 10, 1983. They were blessed with thirty-six years of marriage.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, please pass on Sherry’s love of learning and literacy by reading a book to a child.
