JEFFERSON COUNTY — As the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce continues to look to impact our community, the chamber is looking for businesses to sponsor scholarships that will be given out to high school seniors in the spring.

Bluford School Superintendent Shane Gordon is also the Vice President for the Educational Clearinghouse Council at the Chamber. He says sorting scholarships by what students will study is a new venture, and he has lofty goals for the program.
