Edith “Edie” Pitchford, 80, of Woodlawn, Illinois passed away December 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 3, 1939 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Charles and Sarah (Marbain) Ilbery. Edie married Bobby Dean “Bob” Pitchford on September 14, 1979 in Mount Vernon. They were blessed with 13 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on May 4, 1993.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Dustin Haile officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Woodlawn or Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
