Carolyn F. Dagg, 83, of Mount Vernon, passed away at 8:00 A.M. December 18, 2019 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor. She was born on November 24, 1936 in Mount Vernon to the late Duff and Marian (Hester) Danner. Carolyn married Marvin G. Dagg on September 15, 1955 in Mount Vernon. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on October 24, 2000.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Newell Funeral Home with Reverend Bud Storey officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Carolyn’s honor to Hopewell Cemetery.
