Eva Lois Hawkins, 95 of Centralia, Illinois passed away at 7:57 P.M. December 17, 2019 at Centralia Manor. She was born December 31, 1923 in Wayne County, Illinois to the late Vern and Hettie Lurene (Barringer) Mitchell. Eva married Wilbur Hawkins on April 19, 1941 in Jackson, Missouri. They were blessed with 47 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in July 1988.

A Visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Tim March officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Eva’s honor to Bethel Memorial Cemetery.
