WHITE COUNTY — A Carmi man faces drug charges after Carmi Police pulled him over for an equipment violation just before 2 Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Carmi Police report, 39-year-old Edward W. Ticer was arrested for driving on a revoked driver’s license. A search of the vehicle produced a small vial with 1 gram of crystal methamphetamine and a set of digital scales with meth residue.

Ticer was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the White County Jail. No bond was set.

Court records show that his first appearance was scheduled for Thursday in White County Court.
