Shirley Louise Draege, 83, of Woodlawn, Illinois passed away on November 10, 2019 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born December 22, 1935 in Ashley, Illinois to the late Jacob and Alice (McMillen) Bower. She married Eugene Draege on June 5, 1954 at Union Christian Church in Ashley, Illinois. They were blessed with sixty-five years of marriage before he preceded her in death on September 14, 2019.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with ­­­­ Mr. Jerry Wilson and Mr. Jamie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Brick Cemetery in Ashley, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Fouts Christian Church or Brick Cemetery.
