MARION COUNTY — A 36-year-old Centralia woman arrested last week and charged in Marion County court with possession of a controlled substance, has now been indicted in federal court on firearms charges.
Linzie Pracht appeared Thursday in federal court in East St. Louis on a one-count indictment charging her with illegal possession of firearms by a felon.
Pracht is accused of possessing a .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver, a .22 caliber Carl Walther, and a 12 gauge Browning shotgun.
She was ordered to be detained in federal custody and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in East St. Louis Federal Court for a detention hearing.
She’s pleaded not guilty to the charge and a pretrial conference is scheduled for December 10.
She’s next scheduled to appear in Marion County court on Thursday for a preliminary hearing on the state charge of possessing a controlled substance.
