MARION COUNTY — Another candidate has thrown their hat into the ring for Marion County Coroner race in 2020. Dr. Anton “Tony” Dubrick announced his candidacy as a Democrat at the recent Centralia Halloween Parade.

Dubrick’s credentials as both a physician and a retired attorney provide a unique opportunity for the County to upgrade the professionalism of the office of the Coroner. He believes the taxpaying public should not have to access the coroner’s personal Facebook page to get information about office activities.

His education and experience have allowed him to develop familiarity with Dealing with death and its consequences have been an all-too-familiar aspect of his career life.

Dubrick intends to keep his medical practice open for business as usual regardless of the election outcomes. He’s looking forward to a campaign devoid of attacks on personality and past personal life events.

He hopes his Republican opponent will stay on as Deputy Coroner in 2020 should he lose, if he can upgrade his office professionalism.

Dubrick believes all the candidates are honest, and sincerely devoted to their public service tasks.
