BENTON — The Benton City Council will deal with some issues regarding wastewater treatment plant funds when it meets tonight at 6 at City Hall.
According to the meeting agenda, the council will discuss and possibly act on amending the resolution for the sewer surcharge, a resolution amending the transfer and restriction of funds to the wastewater treatment plant, a resolution restricting funds for the wastewater treatment plant debt reduction and a resolution restricting funds for wastewater infrastructure.
These items were up for discussion at the council’s last meeting earlier this month but were tabled so the council could gather more information about each item before a decision could be made.
In other business, the council will discuss and possibly act on approving a construction engineering fee for an airport terminal building at the Benton Municipal Airport, approving the purchase of real property at 202 E. Main St, hear a presentation from Azavar Solutions, approving an ordinance for leach aid, approving a Delta Regional Authority grant and approving payment number two for Wiggs Excavating for the North Main Water Main Project.
The meeting is open to the public.
