Janet Johnston, 87, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away with her family by her side at 10:19 P.M. October 21, 2019 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born March 15, 1932 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late George and Cleo Mae (Reese) Grissom. She married Bill Johnston on November 25, 1952 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with sixty-seven years of marriage.

A Visitation will be held Friday, October 25, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 P.M. with Mr. Randy Sells officiating. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
