MT. VERNON — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

32-year-old Desiree Huston of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for resisting / obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.

43-year-old Jonathon Lingo of Salem was arrested Tuesday for identity theft between $2,000 and $10,000.

23-year-old Shellena Mandrell of Centralia was arrested Tuesday for burglary.

34-year-old Douglas Dearing of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for violating an order of protection.

23-year-old Zachary Tate of Marion was arrested by Illinois State Police Tuesday for driving on a suspended license.

42-year-old Johnny Jones of Dix was arrested Tuesday for felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of possession of meth less than five grams.

39-year-old Brandon Rice of Mt. Vernon was arrested Tuesday for DUI.
