WHITE COUNTY — The White County Sheriff’s Office Saturday arrested an Enfield man on a White County warrant for violation of order of protection with a $1,000 cash bond.

According to a post on the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page, 28-year-old James E. Steele was found at Lewis Scrap Yard in Burnt Prairie. It was determined that Steele was riding a Honda 300 four wheeler which had been reported as stolen from Enfield.

Steele was also charged with possession of stolen property. He is being held in the White County Jail.
