ILLINOIS (RFD) — The county fair season is now in full swing in Illinois. And the tradition continues to be a big deal in all parts of the state. As for the financial picture at the local level, Tim Norman is with the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Marion County Fair: July 27^th – August 3^rd

Jefferson County Youth Fair: July 19^th – July 27^th

Washington County Fair: July 9^th – July 13^th

Franklin County Fair: July 11^th – July 18^th

Fayette County Fair: July 7^th – July 13^th

Clinton County Fair: July 14^th – July 20^th

Wayne County Ag. Fair: July 6^th – July 13^th

Hamilton County Fair: July 19^th – July 28^th

The county fair season kicked off June 4 with the Macon County Fair in Decatur and runs all the way through Sept. 15 with the Gallatin County Fair in Ridgway.
