BENTON — The Benton City Council is set to meet Monday night at 6 at City Hall.
Items on the agenda include discussion and/or approval of the sale/future use of city owned property immediately south of Franklin Hospital and discussing extending the city’s residential trash contract with Republic Services.
The council will also discuss with possible approval hiring a water clerk/deputy city clerk, restoring longevity for the city clerk, hiring a full time probationary police officer, 30 minute parking on Scarabough and Toler drives, removing certain stop signs on Church and Washington streets and the transfer of a lake lot lease.
The meeting is open to the public.
