FAYETTE COUNTY — A Vandalia man and woman have each been charged with Fentanyl-related drug offenses this week in Fayette County Court.
27-year old Toni R. Schooley is charged with one count of unlawful possession of less than 15 grams of a substance containing Fentanyl.” The count is a Class 1 felony is punishable by 4 to 15 years in prison.
Schooley is also charged with one count of unlawful possession with intent to deliver controlled substance as information alleges Schooley “or one for whom she is legally responsible for, knowingly and unlawfully possessed with intend to deliver, a substance Fentanyl, a controlled substance.”
The count is a Class 3 felony punishable by two to five years in prison.
Bail for Schooley has been set at $10,000. Schooley is next scheduled to appear in court June 14 for a preliminary hearing and first appearance with her court appointed attorney.
42-year old William J. McClary is charged with one count of unlawful possession of less than 15 grams of a substance containing Fentanyl.”
McClary is also charged with one count of unlawful possession with intent to deliver a substance Fentanyl.
McClary is also charged with one count misdemeanor obstructing or resisting a peace officer as he is alleged to have refused to obey orders and fought a Fayette County Sheriffs Deputy.
His bail has been set at $15,000. He’s next scheduled to appear in court June 1 for a preliminary hearing and first appearance with counsel.
