MT. VERNON — The Mt. Vernon Fire Department will continue fire hydrant testing this week, weather permitting, from Tuesday through Friday.

The areas tested will be:

-South of Broadway, from 12^th – 21^st Street

-South of Veterans Memorial Drive, from Brownsville Rd. – Oak Grove Village

-Between Perkins & Jones, from 12^th – 20^th Street

Residents are cautioned that testing can cause discoloration in the water supply of the area’s being tested.
