PERRY COUNTY — A 52-year-old Swanwick man scheduled to be sentenced next week for gouging out the eyes of a Nashville man is now facing new charges.
Allen Fisher was convicted in February on two counts of aggravated assault with great bodily harm and torture for the eye-gouging attack on Robert Pfister.
Fisher, who remains in the Perry County Jail awaiting a May 9, sentencing hearing, was charged in court Monday with two counts of aggravated battery for an incident at the county jail on April 22.
Charging documents accuse Fisher of shoving another inmate and slamming his head into a cell wall.
Fisher has no court dates set in his new case.
