The following arrests have been reported by our sister station in Benton, WQRL;

A West Frankfort man is facing a retail theft and aggravated battery charge.

Benton Police say officers were called to 215 Bailey Lane in reference to a retail theft at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. After investigating the call, officers arrested and charged 21-year-old Dylan L. Johnson with the offenses.

Johnson was taken to the Franklin County Jail.

A West Frankfort man led Benton Police on a brief foot chase before an officer quickly apprehended him following a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Main Street late Saturday night.

Police say 32-year-old Kevin G. Osborne was charged with with resisting a peace officer and driving while license revoked. He was taken to the Franklin County Jail.

A Benton couple is facing charges after they were arrested by Benton Police following a report of a domestic disturbance around 10:45 Sunday morning in the 900 block of North McLeansboro Street.

After investigating, 35-year-old Laura C. Huff was arrested and charged for domestic battery and 47-year-old David L. Huff was also arrested and charged for unlawful violation of an order of protection.

They were both taken to the Franklin County Jail.

A Benton man was arrested and charged for driving while license revoked after Benton Police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Church Street Sunday night.

After investigating, 37-year-old Justin C. Bennett was arrested, charged and taken to the Franklin County Jail.
