MT. VERNON — On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

19-year-old Maxwell Dixon of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for criminal damage to property less than $300.

36-year-old Jeffrey Hunt of Opdyke was arrested Thursday for aggravated assault with discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, disorderly conduct, and possession of a firearm with an expired FOID.

48-year-old Shaun Thompson of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday for disorderly conduct and DUI while license suspended or revoked.

28-year-old Jacob Woolever was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Friday for DUI-alcohol.
